To save on text messaging costs on SIM card in tracker you can enable the
tracker to have longer time intervals when vehicle ignition is off. To do so, please
connect the A201’s ACC wire to vehicle ignition wire, and send SMS command
000000GTI30,0,0,0,240 to tracker. As soon as this is done, the A201 will update
your position to the FMS platform every 30 seconds when vehicle ignition is ON,
and every 2 hours when vehicle ignition is OFF (30seconds x
240=7200seconds=2hours).
"
If your vehicle tends to travel on curvy roads it is recommended to set tracker to
update specific locations for a better route display and to save on GPRS costs. To
do so, send an SMS message 000000GTI30,0,30,0,240 to the tracker. You will also
need to connect the A201’s ACC wire to vehicle ignition wire, the tracker will
update position to FMS once the vehicle turns around for 30 degree or over 30
degree, and also update position every 30 seconds when vehicle ignition is ON,
every
2
hours
when
vehicle
ignition
is
OFF
(30secondsx240=7200seconds=2hours).

Verification of the configurations
After adjusting all settings from sections 9.3.2.1 -‐ 9.3.2.5, please login to your FMS
account to track device online. If device still shows “NO DATA” in FMS after few
minutes, please send the following four SMS commands to your tracker to confirm
tracker’s settings:
"
1st command: 000000ASKGID
Tracker responds with “Query Parameter OK, GIDXXXXX”, (please verify that it is the
sane tracker ID as the one added on FMS). If the tracker ID is incorrect, please go to
section 9.2.2.2 and set the correct ID again.
"
2nd command: 000000ASKAPN
Tracker responds with “Query Parameter OK, APNXXXXX”, (please verify APN of your
tracker’s SIM card). If incorrect, please go to section 9.2.2.3 and set the correct APN
again.
