MAXXﬂ o EVO

6.2.10 BACK FLOW PREVENTION VALVE

•

Remove the 8 Torx screws holding the cover plate onto the air arm and gently pull cover away from the seal.

•

The Back Flow Prevention Valve (BFPV) is located inside the cover itself and can be slid out for inspection.

•

Inspect BFPV for damage and operation. Replace if necessary

•

Inspect air arm seal for damage. Replace if necessary

•

Assembly is the reverse

6.2.11 CIRCULATION PUMP (Q1)

•

Close the shut oﬀ valve before the pump, or if optional pressure sensor kit ﬁ tted close oﬀ the shut oﬀ valves
either side of the pump

•

Drain oﬀ water from the DHW tank (approximately 30 litres) or if the optional pressure sensor kit is ﬁ tted use
the drain points between the shut oﬀ valves

•

Remove the PWM and power connectors, using a small ﬂ at blade screwdriver to lift the white tab before
pulling each connector free.

•

Undo the unions at the top and bottom of the pump body and remove pump.

•

Fit the new pump seals

•  Replacement is the reverse
•  Reﬁ ll and bleed of air
•  Operate the pump by pulling the electrical connector oﬀ  the heat exchanger front ﬂ ow sensor (B2)

When all sound of air has stopped, reconnect B2 sensor and press the reset for 1s
