InnuPure C12
Shutdown in case of an emergency!
In an emergency the InnuPure C12 is to be isolated from the mains by
disconnecting the plug from the mains socket.
Make sure that the mains plug is easily accessible.
Electric shock!
The InnuPure C12 is supplied with electrical power. Extremely dangerous
electrical voltages occur at various points in the system!
The mains plug may only be connected to sockets with an earthing contact
such that Protection Class I (earthing connection) is ensured for the device. The
protective effect must not be nullified by using an extension cable without an
earthing connector.
Disconnect the mains plug before opening the device! The device hood may
only be opened by the Technical Customer Service department of Analytik Jena
AG or by trained personnel!
Before connecting the InnuPure C12 to the mains supply, check that the
operating voltage on the rating plate on the left side of the device agrees with
the mains voltage at the intended socket. Operation with any other operating
voltage than that specified can lead to the destruction of the device.
Only fuses of the specified type may be used.
Caution condensed water!
In case of large differences between the storage and installation temperatures,
before connecting wait until the InnuPure C12 has attained the ambient
temperature to avoid damage to the device caused by condensed water.
Operating substances, dangerous substances
The operator is responsible for the selection of substances used in the process
as well as for their safe handling. This is particularly important for radioactive,
infectious, poisonous, corrosive, combustible, explosive and otherwise
dangerous substances.
When handling dangerous substances local safety instructions and guidelines
must be observed.
Warnings on the labels must be always observed.
Only use clearly marked containers as well as protective goggles and rubber
gloves.
Biological samples
have to be handled according to local guidelines regarding
the handling of infectious material.
Cleaning and decontamination measures
The operator is responsible for carrying out suitable decontamination should the
device be contaminated externally or internally with dangerous substances.
Spots, drops or larger spillages should be removed and cleaned using an
absorbent material such as cotton wool, laboratory wiping cloths or cellulose.
The affected areas are then to be wiped with an
Incidin Plus solution
,
Decosept AF spray disinfectant
(Dr. Schuhmacher GmbH) or Meliseptol HBV
– cloths (B. Braun).
