Your SMART CUT 2
™
is shipped with a WINDOWS (95/98/2000/Me/XP) compatible "SMART CUT 2
™
REMOTE
CONTROL" software (3.5" disk). This software allows you to control and make adjustments by a simple mouse click
(output format, image adjustments, etc...).

SOFTWARE INSTALLATION:

Turn your computer ON and wait for WINDOWS to completely start.

Insert the disk into the floppy drive.

In the WINDOWS
START
menu, click on
RUN
.

Choose the disk drive and click on
setup.exe
(ex : A:\
setup.exe
if disk 3.5" is drive A).

Follow the WINDOWS installation instructions. WINDOWS will create a file C:\Programfiles\ANALOGWAY\
SMART CUT 2 remote control.

STARTING UP:

Connect the RS-232 cables between the control device and the SMART CUT 2
™
as indicated in section 9-1.

Then only power ON all of the devices.

Click on the program files
S-CUT 2
in
Start-program-ANALOGWAY-SMART CUT 2
to run the software.

Click on
Control
menu and select the
Serial port
.
The SMART CUT 2
™
is now connected to the computer (if not, verify the DB9 serial connection and the
selected serial port).
