KNEE SUPPORT
PELVIC BELT
CHEST STRAP
STANDING FUNCTION
The standing function makes it possible for the user to stand up in
the wheelchair.
• The standing function procedure automatically activates
the creep mode on the power wheelchair.
• The use of a chest strap, pelvic belt and knee support/
strap is mandatory when using the standing function.
!
WARNING
1. Before using the standing function ensure that the chest strap,
pelvic belt and knee support/strap are adjusted to the user
and in place.
2. Only use the standing function on level, smooth and hard
surfaces such as wood, concrete and tiles.
PELVIC BELT
The pelvic belt must ALWAYS be fastened whether seated in the
wheelchair or in the standing mode.
1. FASTENING THE PELVIC BELT:
(FIG.1)
a) The user must be seated properly in the wheelchair.
b) Fasten the magnetic buckles together until a click is
heard
c) Use the D ring to tighten until all slack is removed and
the pads under the buckle are touching.
d) The belt should fit snug and ensure that the user’s pelvis
is secure.
