Introduction

VPXImport Import Tool Program

•

Universally support both national and international multimedia,
audiovisual, and lighting products

•

Add and/or modify equipment models and manufacturers, and storing
them in the VPXpress program’s database

•

Print custom reports that contain product-specific model and/or control
information

•

Query options that allow you to list product-specific information in the
main window

•

Import/export user-defined device model records

•

Update existing user-defined device models with those from an exported
set

•

Overwrite protection for any pre-existing model data during import
process

Minimum System Requirements

The

minimum

system requirements for VPXImport include:

•

VPXpress ViewPoint Systems Design/Programming software (Version 1.0
or higher) installed on the target PC

•

166 MHz Pentium

processor (or faster)

•

16 MB RAM

•

50 MB of unused hard disk space

•

VGA monitor

•

Microsoft

Windows or Windows NT

operating systems:

— Windows 95

and Windows 98

— Windows NT 4.x (or higher)

•

CD-ROM drive compatible with Multimedia PC (MPC) specifications

•

Serial or bus mouse pointing device (or equivalent)

Note

Before you install the

VPXImport program on a PC,

make sure it has the

VPXpress software program

already installed and running

correctly. If it is not installed,

the VPXImport program will

not work correctly.
