4. You will be prompted to “

Insert the USB drive

” containing the option’s

firmware. This requires that you open the AMEVision enclosure door and
physically connect the USB drive.

5. Using a standard 7/16" wrench loosen and remove the nut of the left side

of the AMEVision enclosure and open the AMEVision enclosure door.

6. Locate the plug-in port for the USB flash drive and plug the drive with the

upgrade software into the USB port inside the AMEVision enclosure. Press

ENTER/MENU

to continue or

CANCEL

to exit.

7. The new updated firmware will download and the message “

Flashing Sen-

sor (Host) Firmware

” will be displayed.

8. The upgrade is successful when the next screen displays a large GREEN

check mark indicating the upgrade was installed.

If the upgrade was not successful, a large RED 'X' will appear on the
display with the message “

Failed

.” You will be asked if the USB con-

tains the correct firmware and if the correct USB was plugged in.
Check the USB drive to make sure it is connected and try again. If you
continue to fail to upgrade the firmware, contact AMETEK customer
service.

9. Press

CANCEL

to exit the menu.
