Signal Processor
LMG AE
Distance:
The distance between the two thermometer locations.
Default 1.0m (or 1.0 ft, depending upon the units used when
configuring the speed channel).
If the on-line speed sensor provides an output of RAM speed then the die
scaling factor will need to be entered (see Section 4.5.3).
Die scaling:
1.00 to 100.00 in increments of 0.01. Default: 1.00 (set 1.00
if on-line speed sensor provides an output of SECTION speed).
Output type: Either 0 to 20mA or 4 to 20mA (default 4 to 20mA) output of
quench rate.
Tspan:
Output span required; configured from 0 to 10°/s to 0 to
100°/s in 10°/s increments (default 100°/s).
AF1 Mode:
Maths function alarm mode can be either high or low.
(default low).
Level:
Alarm level for Quench rate can be set from 0.0°/s to 100.0°/s
in 0.1°/s increments.
Having completed all of the above then the menu <<Return option should
be selected.
If all was configured correctly then either configure the other maths function
if required or select the Exit option from the current menu.
Select the Save and Exit option to store your configuration.
The Quench A maths function is now configured.
If the configured maths function is currently not being displayed then the
display hot key will need to be used to select the required maths function.
Having completed all the above then the display typically should look like
the following.
