ARM TYPE - This entry indicates the current alarm display,
queuing, and removal arming type for this monitor. The
default ARM TYPE is DIS (disarmed). The arming type can
also be set by keyboard commands, page 3-5. ARM TYPE
cannot be set or changed if any alarm contacts are active.

The cursor moves to the Block number field only if a Block
arming code is selected (Block Sequence or Block Hold). If a
non-Block arming code is selected the Block number defaults
to pound symbol (###) and the cursor moves to the ACK field.
### (Block number) - The block number associates monitors
together to form a monitor “block” for alarm callup. A
monitor block may consist of any system monitors and need
not be contiguous. When a block ARM TYPE is selected
above, the cursor is moved to the Block number field and a
default block number is automatically indicated.
To change/select a block number for this monitor:
1. Enter the desired block number on the keypad.
2. Press the ACK key to save the block number and move to
the ACK field.
Refer to Alarms descriptions, Appendix pages A-3 to A-7, for
arming alarm contacts to monitor blocks.
To set up a block of monitors:
1. Select each monitor via the MONITOR line.
2. Select a block ARM TYPE (e.g., BSI) for this monitor.
3. Select the block number for this monitor.
To add monitors to the block, repeat for each monitor, using
block arming codes with identical alarm removal methods
(e.g., BSI and BHI), and identical block numbers.
Example: Block #007 contains monitors 1-3.
