relative to the tool centre point at a tool release position.
- Diameter of the circle (C _ d): The diameter of an arc is subdivided in equal parts.
- The number of the holes which are distributed (CNo.H): The number of the points by
which the arc is subdivided uniformly. The number of points (n) subdivide a section of
the arc uniformly into (n-1) segments.
- Angle of the starting point (S _ A): Angle of the starting point on a circle which is uni-
formly subdivided.
- Angle of the end point (E _ A): Angle of the end point of the arc which is uniformly sub-
divided.
- The angle of the starting and end point of an arc is calculated counter-clockwise. On
the XY or XZ layers the positive direction of the X axis is taken as direction for 0 degree
and the positive direction of the other axis is taken as direction for 90 degree.
The positive direction of the Y axis on the YZ layer is taken as direction for 0 degree
the positive direction of the Z axis is taken as direction for 90 degree.
Proceeding:
I. Entering parameters:
- Press the key
in order to enter the subdivided hole on the circle function; the
display at the top right displays
and indicates that you can enter the
coordinates for the position of the centre. The XY coordinate layer is the standard
layer. The position of the current coordinate is taken as coordinate of the standard
centre point and the corresponding coordinate axis is displayed. The axes which are
not assigned to the selected coordinate layers are not displayed. The display light on
the left of the key
is illuminated and indicates that the X axis is the standard
axis.
When you want to change the coordinate layer simply press the key
several
times the coordinate layer changes analogue to the following sequence:
Change over from the XY coordinate layer to the YZ coordinates;
Change over from the YZ coordinate layer to the XZ coordinate layer;
Alter quitting the subdivided hole on the circle function position display returns to the
standard display status.
Entering the position of the circle centre point:
- Select a coordinate axis and the display light of this axis is illuminated;
- Enter a new coordinate value;
- Press the key
to confirm your entry;
- Repeat the above mentioned three steps in order to complete the entry of the two
coordinates of the centre point;
- Press the key
in order to prepare the entry of the following parameter. The dis-
play at the top right displays
and indicates that you can now enter
the diameter value.
