6.3.2 Adjusting the TwinTeC seeding coulter
6.3.2.1 Adjusting the placement depth
NOTE
The operating conditions affect the correct setting.
The adjustment of the placement depth must be
adapted to the respective operating conditions.
The optimum adjustment can only be determined
during field operation.
1. Raise the implement.
2. Take the universal operating tool

from the
parking position.

Take the ratchet spanner from the thread pack.

To move the placement depth to the desired
position,
Turn the adjustment spindle 3 in the desired
direction.
4. The scale 1 serves as orientation.
5. Lock the adjustment spindle in the grid 4 .

To adopt the setting for the second implement
section,
observe the direction of rotation in the table.
7. Put the universal operating tool or ratchet
spanner in the parking position.

To check the adjustment of the placement depth
on the field after driving a short distance,
see "Checking the placement depth" .
