AC voltage measurement
CAUTION
Risk of electric shock!
The
contact plates in powered AC outlets may be
recessed too far for the test probes to make a
connection. This may give false measurements.
Contact point of measurement must be visible for a
true reading.
NOTICE
Doing voltage measurements while:
– The + connector lead (L) is left on the

ampere input jack (D).
– The + connector lead (L) is on the
V/Ω/mA
input jack (G) but the switch (C) is set to the
DC current function.
It will blow the product’s internal fuse if it draws a
current greater than the internal fuses are rated for.
Check that the (+) red connector lead (L) is on the
correct terminal and the function switch (C) is set
to the correct function.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Do not measure
motors with unstable power. Large voltage surges
may occur that can damage the product.
• Set the function switch (C) to the appropriate
voltage measurement mode:
