Troubleshooting
If the cleaner appears to operate abnormally, switch off the power immediately to ensure safety. Review the chart below to
see if you can locate the cause of the problem. If repair is required, contact your dealer or an Amano branch office.
Possible Cause
1
The power cord is disconnected.
2 The power cord is damaged. One or more
phases is missing from the 3-phase power
source.

There is a power outage.

The [ON] switch is defective.

The power phases are reversed.
1 The power voltage is unstable.
2 Single-phase 200V is supplied to a single-
phase 100V machine
1 Incorrect installation of the tank cover or
bucket caused the thermal relay of the
electromagnetic switch to trip.

An overload caused the blower motor’s
thermal relay to trip.
2 Problem with power supply.

There is a power outage.

The filter is clogged.

The bucket is full.
3 The filter has reached the end of its life.

The intake port or hose is clogged or dam-
aged.

The tank cover or bucket is not securely in
place.

The filter is damaged.
2 The filter is improperly installed.

Problem with the fan or the blower motor.
Countermeasure

Connect up the cord.
2 Replace the cord, or check the power
source.

Wait for the power to come back on.

Replace the printed board.

Unplug the power cord, and change the
wire connections in the plug.
1 Unplug the power cord, and plug it into a
more stable power supply.
2 Check power supply
1 Correctly install the tank cover or bucket.

Unplug the power cord, then find and
eliminate the cause for the overload. Then
press the thermal relay RESET button.
2 Unplug the power cord, and plug it into a
more stable power supply.

Wait for the power to come back on.

Shake out the filter.

Empty the bucket.
3 Replace the filter.

Check the intake port and hose, and repair
any damaged area.

Correctly install the tank cover or bucket.

Replace the filter.

Unplug the power cord. Check the fan and
blower motor for problems or incorrect in-
stallation. If the fan or blower is damaged,
replace it.
Problem
The unit does not operate
when the operation switch
is pressed (the power lamp
is OFF).
The power lamp blinks red
at 1-second intervals and
does not operate.
The power lamp blinks red
at 0.5-second intervals and
does not operate.
The machine starts up, but
then quickly shuts down
again.
Suction stopped during
operation.
The suction force is weak.
Dust is leaking from the
exhaust port.
The cleaner vibrates ab-
normally, or emits a
strange odor or noise.
