Replacing a Cloth Filter (Models V-5

A cloth filter should be replaced at least once a year, provided that it remains in good condition. Replace it immediately if
inspection reveals that it torn or damaged, or if shake cleaning fails to clear the filter apertures.
1. Switch off the blower motor.
Press the
OFF
switch to shut down the blower motor. Wait
1 minute for the blower motor to stop.
2. Shake out the filter.
Remove the filter cover, lift the filter frame, and shake out
firmly to remove the adhered dust from the inside of the fil-
ter.
3. Remove the filter frame.
Untie the band and lift out the filter frame.
4. Remove the filter.
Remove the 6 wing nuts, and then remove the filter from the
tank.
5. Install the new filter.
Tightly fasten the filter to the tank with the 6 wing nuts. Then
set the filter frame into place. Tie the bands to the filter
frame, and then close the tank cover securely.
