Step
3
‐
Make
a
note
of
the
servo
orientation
(take
photos
if
necessary),
and
then
dismount
the
existing
servo.
Step
4
‐
Prepare
a
new
servo
in
accordance
with
the
separate
Maintenance
Sheet
003
('New
Servo
Preparation').
Note:
the
servo
must
be
exactly
the
same
type
as
the
one
being
replaced.
If
a
new
servo
horn
is
required,
then
use
the
information
contained
in
the
appropriate
Maintenance
Sheet
018
('Setup
Information')
to
prepare
one.
Step
5
‐
Mechanically
install
the
new
servo
and
connect
to
the
electrical
system.
Remove
the
main
blades.
Step
6
–
Power
on
electrical
systems.
Do
not
start
the
engine
yet.
While
the
servos
are
switched
on,
listen
carefully
to
the
new
throttle
servo
to
check
for
excessive
noise,
vibration
and
heat.
