14.1
Ambient conditions
Pump the SADPminiEx head up and down a few times to ensure that the air surrounding the
sensor in the SADPminiEx head is representative of the ambient moisture value. Leave the head
out and allow the sensor to stabilise. Start the AutoCal routine and enter the ambient moisture
value into the SADPminiEx when asked to enter the AutoCal Value.
14.2
Reference gas
Connect the SADPminiEx to a reference gas, raise the SADPminiEx head and ensure that a
flow of 5 to 8 L/M is obtained. Allow the sensor to stabilise so that the gas surrounding the
sensor in the SADPminiEx head is representative of the reference gas moisture value. Start the
AutoCal routine and enter the reference gas moisture value into the SADPminiEx when asked
to enter the AutoCal Value.

SADPminiEx 4-20mA

could cause the instrument to become unsafe for use in the hazardous area and will invalidate
the intrinsically safe certification.
Note: The 4-20mA output should not be operated while the instrument is charging.
