WARNING! Start always with
one minimun working depth
and then to inìcrease it pro-
gressively until the required
working depth is reached. Make sure
that all the pins are in the same position
during the work. It is advisable a wor-
king depth of 80÷50 mm.
6.5 SPEED ROTOR
VARIATION
In order to obtain the best possible crum-
bling of the soil, the following two factors
must be taken into consideration:
• The speed pf the tractor.
• The rotation speed of blades rotor.
Therefore, it is advisable to use the lowest
possible speeds but which can give as
a result a good working of the soil. The
greater the number of the rotor revolutions,
the greater the crumbling degree of the
soil but also higher is the power absorbed
by the tractor and the wear of the blades.
It is clear that the faster the rotors rotate,
the faster the tractor advance; at any rate,
make sure not to exceed the speed limit
of 8 km/h.
The gear box allows the machine to work
the soil with different rotor speeds, by
using different gear couples available on
request and interchangeable with those
supplied standard
(Fig. 43)
.
In order to invert or substitute the gear
couple of the gear box, remove the lid
(A)
(making sure not to break the gasket),
remove the springs

and the gears

and invert their position or replace
them with new ones.
Then replace the springs

by lightening the M10 screw

at not
no more than 4Kgm.
ATENCIÓN! Aconsejamos
siempre iniciar el trabajo
con una profundidad de
trabajo mínima y de aumen-
tarla progresivamente hasta conseguir
la deseada teniendo cuidado que en
trabajo todos los enchufes tienen que
estar en posiciones iguales. La profun-
didad de trabajo aconsejada es de 80
a 150 mm.
6.5 REGULACIÓN DE LA
VELOCIDAD DEL ROTOR
El grado de desmenuzamiento del terreno
depende principalmente de dos factores:
• La velocidad de avanze del tractor.
• La velocidad de rotación del rotor
portazada o portacuchilla.
A velocidad de adelanto reducida corres-
ponde un mayor desmenuzamiento del
terreno, es en todo caso aconsejable que
no supere la velocidad de 8 Km/h; más
elevado es el número de vueltas del rotor,
mayor es el grado de desmenuzamiento
del terreno pero también mayor es la po-
tencia absorbida por el tractor y mayor es
el consumo de las cuchillas o las azadas.
El cambio de velocidad que son dotadas
las máquinas permite a la máquina de
trabajar el terreno con diversas velocida-
des de los rotores. Invirtiendo la posición
de los engranajes dotados de serie o
bien utilizando otras parejas de engra-
najes disponibles a solicitud se pueden
conseguir las velocidades indicadas en el
tablero

Para invertir o reemplazar la pareja de
engranajes del cambio,basta con sacar la
