Note
Saving the settings for one handpiece (bipolar or unipolar) does
not affect the default settings for the other handpiece.
To save the settings:
1. Set the system in
Standby
mode.
2. Set the desired operating parameters.
3. Press the SAVE softkey; the system deletes the previous default (or any
previously saved) setting for the current handpiece type and stores the new
default settings.
Once saved, the system recalls the new settings the next time it is turned on.
6.12. Switch to a Different Handpiece
To switch the operation mode from one handpiece type to another, switch to the
corresponding handpiece type:
1. Turn off the Accent XL system as described in Section 6.13.
2. Turn the system back on.
3. Select the desired handpiece on the Handpiece Selection screen (see
Figure 6-3).
6.13. System Shut-Down
Turn off the system as follows:
1. Set the system to Standby mode by pressing the StBy softkey.
2. Turn off the keyswitch; the
Keyswitch Off
screen appears (see Figure 6-1).
3. Turn off the main switch on the service panel.
4. Disconnect the power cable from the mains power outlet.
Note
To turn off the system in an emergency situation, push the
emergency shut-off knob. To resume operation, turn the knob to
release it and turn the system off and back on again. A complete
start-up procedure will be necessary to return to operation.
