Open the loading door and clean the lint filter. Place wet laundry in
clothes cylinder and close the door securely.
DO NOT
OVERLOAD THE DRYER.
Maximum load: cylinder one-half
full of wet clothes.

Set
FABRIC SELECTOR
temperature switch at:
NORMAL
for
cottons;
PERMANENT PRESS
for permanent press, wash and
wear, knits of manmade fibers such as polyester and heavy weight
“synthetics.”
DELICATE
for sheer fabrics such as curtains, lingerie
and blouses, and for heat sensitive rugs.
FLUFF
(no heat) for items
that
should not
be dried with heat. Use for fluffing shag rugs,
bedspreads, pillows, blankets and other heat sensitive items.
CUSTOMER SHOULD BE INFORMED THAT GARMENT
MANUFACTUER’S CARE INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD BE
CAREFULLY FOLLOWED.
3a. Metered models—Place coins in coin slide and carefully push slide
in as far as possible. (
IN USE
light will come on indicating the dryer
is ready to operate.) Allow the coin slide to return to its normal
position, or pull it out if necessary. Repeat for more time.
3b. Nonmetered models—Turn the timer knob to the number of minutes
desired for drying. Close loading door and push the
PUSH-TO-START
button. (
IN USE
light will come on indicating the dryer is running.) The
last five minutes of the cycle will be a cool-down (no heat) period. The
dryer will stop when the timer knob reaches the
OFF
position.
4.
Close the loading door, press the
PUSH-TO-START
button firmly.
The dryer will stop if the door is opened. To restart, close the loading
door securely and again press the
PUSH-TO-START
button.
5.
When the drying cycle is completed,
IN USE
light will go out. Open
the loading door and remove laundry.
Remove knits when slightly damp because overdrying may cause
shrinkage. Do not tumble dry knit woolens.
Should the dryer stop before the cycle is completed, the motor overload
protector may have cycled, (see Page 45). It will reset itself in a few
minutes. Start the dryer again by pressing the
PUSH-TO-START
button.
