2.1.5 Connect extension cables to the camera drop cables

Seal all interface cable connections to prevent moisture or other contaminants from damaging the connection.
Failure
of a connector due to moisture or another contaminant is considered an installation error, which voids
the warranty.
Drop cables for the ALI-NT4002R are shown below. Connect these cables to device interfaces in the order listed here.

1. Connect the camera to other devices as needed in the order shown below.

Alarm Input drop cables:
The camera provides two alarm In drop cables labeled ALARM1 and ALARM2 with screw
down terminals. These inputs can supply 0 ~ 5 Vdc. Alarm terminals are defined as shown below.

Connect the alarm input terminals to alarm input devices as needed. Alarm input devices can be normally open (N.O.) or
normally closed (N.C.). Use the configuration menus in the camera to define the active state of the alarm sensor.
