f. CVBS image drop cable : You can connect the CVBS drop cable to a monitor (raw) video input port.
2. Alter connecting drop cable to the extension cables:
a. Ensure that all connections are sealed from moisture and other contaminants.
b. Arrange the cables efficiently in the junction box (if used), behind the mounting surface, etc. to protect them from
damage and unapproved access.
3. Attach the camera to the junction box (if used) with the machine screws provided, or to the wall or ceiling with the fasteners
determined above.
4. Apply power to the camera.

2.2.2 Install a microSD card (optional)
The camera can accommodate a microSD card. These cards are valuable for recording local alarms, live video and local captures.
If the camera is attached to an NVR, this information is normally uploaded into the NVR. However, if the camera is attached to a
network switch, the microSD card is where local video and alams events are saved.
The microSD card slot is located behind the maintenance panel cover on the underside of the camera. See the Specifications section
of this document for card types and capacity. To install a microSD card:
1. Remove the housing from the camera assembly. To release the housing from the camera:
a. Loosen the retention tab hold down screw.
b. Slide the tab away from the enclosre. It isn’t necessary to remove the screw. See below.
