This section applies also to FR interfaces on Sonet/SDH high-speed channels on ASAP MDAs. In
order to configure Frame Relay on the associated port/channel, the

frame-relay

encapsulation

type must be specified.

The following output displays a Frame Relay encapsulation type and the Frame Relay defaults.
