5.1.2 The Network cable. For installations that require a network connection a separate cable must
be run to the network Ethernet switch. The standard length of pre-made cable with the weather hood
fitted is 30m. For other lengths up to a maximum of 100m cables can be made up on site by fitting the
weather hood over the end of the cable before fitting an RJ45 connector.

Note:

It is good practice to leave a spare loop of network cable (approximately

0.5m of cable). This will allow for ease of wiring to the Network switch and will
allow the cable to be re-terminated if necessary in the future.

Note:

It is good practice to label the network connection cable to identify which

AirSynergy unit it is connected to. This is especially important where multiple
AirSynergy units are installed on the same pole/tower and the network
connections all converge on one Ethernet switch.
