Configuration
The top section of the PC4800 Port page reports the operational status, data rate, power and the identifying
addresses of the PC4800 port. See the Express Setup page for information on device and port identification
[Summary Status > Setup > Express Setup].

Status of “awc0”
The term “awc0” (Aironet Wireless Communications) is part of Aironet’s naming convention for this
radio. This field displays one of three possible operating states.
Up
The port is operating properly.
Down
The port is not operating.
Error
The port is in an error condition.
Maximum Rate (Mb/s)
Maximum rate of data transmission in megabits per second. “Basic” data rates, as defined by IEEE-
802.11 are followed by “B.”
IP Addr.
Internet protocol address of the port. Use the Express Setup page to assign or change IP address
[Summary Status > Setup > Express Setup]
MAC Addr.
The Media Access Control (MAC) address is a unique identifier assigned by the manufacturer.
SSID
The Service Set Identifier (SSID) – also termed the Radio SSID – is an identifier that stations must use
to be able to communicate with an AP. Enter or change the SSID for the port in the Express Setup Page
[Summary Status > Setup > Express Setup].
Transmit Power (mW)
The power level of radio transmission. Maximum setting is government-regulated and must conform to
established standards for the country of operation. Setting can be reduced to conserve power or reduce
interference. Enter or change the power setting in PC4800 Hardware using the “Set Properties” link
above.
Statistics: Receive
This section reports the data traffic received through the AP’s PC4800 port.
Unicast Packets
The number of packets received in “point-to-point” communication.
