4.10.5
Remove Outer Battens
Remove next outermost three tip battens. Unclip
‘pivot beak’ from ‘threaded end’.
Ensure the locking latch is depressed
adequately otherwise damage will occur to the
latch
Rotate
pivot beak
and remove from sail as shown.
To adjust batten load tension, release
pivot beak
from sail and rotate batten clip. See maintenance
manual for adjustment details.

Fit Tip Bags
Roll sail at the tips inwards and parallel to the leading edge. Slide
the tip bag over the end of the leading edge. The barrel lock unit
can be used to tension the bag bungee.

4.10.7
Fit U-Bracket Cover
The U-Bracket flap cover stays in the sail when the wing is
assembled. Unzip the centre zip and pull each side of the padding
down and over the tops of the U-Bracket and downtubes. Fit each of
the down tube padding on the downtubes.
