4.10 Wing Break Down Procedure – All Wings
This section assumes that the wing has been removed from the base. The wing should have the keel
extension fitted with the clevis pin and ring installed. This section is intended as a reference only and
assumes prior knowledge of the break down procedure. Further reference for cover positioning can be
found in the wing Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC).

Unload Tip Battens

Pull the over-centre lever so that it opens. Remove the screw head from the sail eyelet. Remove the
batten.

Remove Undersurface Battens
Insert finger through
string loop and pull
batten forward. Once
the batten is forward
pull string down to
remove
from
oval
pocket. Slide batten
rearward until all the
way out.

Arrow and Arrow K Only - Unload Sprogs
Undo the zips and remove the sprog tubes from their pockets inside the sail. Note inboard sprog folds
toward the keel, and outboard sprog folds toward the wing tip.
