Cleaning and Disinfecting
The complete system should only be cleaned using wipes or an
alcohol-based disinfectant.
Use a non-corrosive surface disinfectant such as Birex® se.
The A C C E N T Sensor can be cleaned using a disinfection spray or
wipe such as Birex® se.
To avoid malfunction of the A C C E N T Sensor, make sure that the plug
of the s ensor does not come in contact with the cleaning agent .
Maintenance
Check the system before every use for any possible signs of damage. In
the case of any sign of damage do not use the system. Call the service
technician immediately.
To avoid device damage and shock through electric
current, do not immerse

components in any liquid cleaning agents.
The A C C E N T Sensor must not be sterilized in an
autoclave. The high temperature and excessive
high pressure will damage the sensor.
C A R E A N D M A I N T E N A N C E
Disposal
Dispose of batteries in accordance with local codes pertaining to heavy
metal hazardous waste. The Control Module and all other components can be
disposed of as electronic waste in accordance with local sanitation codes.
