The X-ray imaging system may only be
operated by suitably qualified personnel.
Imaging Procedure
Operate the

to capture a digital X-ray by performing the
following procedures. These procedures should be conducted as written.

1.
Start the PC and the installed user-supplied software.
2.
Set Image Management Software application to acquire images.
3.
Place a new disposable infection control sheath over the

Sensor and place this in the mouth of the patient.
4.
Turn-ON the
A C C E N T
by depressing the Power Button for
approximately 1.5 seconds and observe the LED indicator sequence
as follows:
Green LED Illuminates
Blue LED illuminates then extinguishes.
Yellow LED illuminates then extinguishes.
Green LED extinguishes and then flashes briefly throughout
operation

Observe LED indicators. The blue LED should flash to indicate
communication link with computer and the yellow LED blinks to
indicate the system is ready to take a new image.

When the X-ray machine is activated, the Control Module auto-
matically detects the exposure signal and stores the image in
internal memory. At this point, the yellow LED steadily illumi-
nates and the blue LED still flashes.
The Control Module can no longer acquire additional images
until the image is transferred to the user-supplied image soft-
ware application installed on the computer system.
7.
The Control Module is ready to take the next image when the
yellow LED resumes flashing.
8.
Repeat steps 4 through 7 as necessary to complete the X-ray
session.

Make sure to cover the
A C C E N T
Sensor with a
new disposable infection control sheath for each
patient for hygienic and health reasons.

The infection control sheath must be used for only
one patient and disposed of properly in
accordance with local code.
