Thermal Management Unit
General Description
AIC’s Thermal Management Unit is an appliance,
which consist of two major elements. Master con-
troller of hybrid system and a stratification buffer
tank. Both of these elements form one unit in a
build casing. Controller’s task is to deliver most op-
timized heat delivery for Central Heating and Hot
Water purposes, using Heat Pump and a Boiler as
heat sources.
Stratification buffer tank is specially designed to hy -
draulicly connect both heat sources and form one
system. Unique composition of connections and
baffle allow to create heat without interfering main
or supplementary source, extending efficiency of
the system.
Safety Devices
The TMU appliances are equipped with two water
sensors: a top and a bottom temperature sensor,
that provide safety for your appliance and water
circuit.
The TMU appliances
are not provided with the fol-
lowing mandatory safety equipment that the install-
er must place in the system, in accordance with the
applicable local standards and regulations:

A safety group and manometer.

Some optional equipment can be used with the
TMU. Please contact your AIC representative for
more information and a list of available equipment.
To lengthen the life of your appliance and heating
system, the following equipment can be installed in
the circui t:

The components of the appliance were manufac-
tured in accordance with the requirements of EU
regulations.
The stratification buffer tank is designed and man -
ufactured in accordance with the sound engineer-
ing practice (Article 4.3 of the Pressure Equipment
Directive 2014/68/EU).
For conformity of the Controller, refer to Declaration
of Conformity no. 2021/20EU/01.
The Declaration of Conformity is available on re-
quest from the AIC representative.
Accordance to EU regulations
