Operating modes
In Protection mode, the heating system is off.
However, the room remains protected against frost
(“Frost protection setpoint”).
Characteristics of Protection mode:
• Heating mode off
• Temperature according to the “Frost protection
setpoint”
• “Eco” functions active
In
Automatic mode, the room temperature is con-
trolled according to the selected time program.
Characteristics of Automatic mode:
• Heating mode according to the time program
• Temperature setpoints according to heating
program “Comfort setpoint” or “Reduced set-
point”
• “Eco” functions active
• Operating level changeover via presence button
In Reduced mode, the room temperature is main-
tained at the set “Reduced setpoint”.
Characteristics of Reduced mode:
• Heating made without time program
• “Eco” functions active
In
Comfort mode, the room temperature is main-
tained at the set “Comfort setpoint”
Characteristics of Comfort mode:
• Heating made without time program
• “Eco” functions
not active
Many of the integrated energy saving
functions, such as the time and holiday
programs or summer/winter changeo-
ver, are active when Automatic mode
is selected.

Manual changeover of operating modes
In automatic mode, the temperature level is
changed over based on the time programs.
Changeover between comfort and reduced set-
point can be done manually, if another temperature
level is desired for a temporary period. Changeover
can be done by changing operating mode in tem-
perature setting tab.
The changeover continues until the next switching
point or until the next time the presence button is
activated.
