– COIL GEOMETRY SCREENING

1.

Information regarding the mixed Indoor Unit may be verified by the matched System Manufacturer.

2.

Single-Speed & Single-Stage Mixed Coil Requirements

A.

ICM ratings shall be subject to the flowchart shown in Figure G1, G2 and G3.

B.

If the

sample’s ratings pass the criteria of the flowchart, the ratings are subject to the coil geometry screening

program. The program shall generate a rating based on submitted data from the ICM. This rating is then
compared with the System M

anufacturer’s inputted data. The ratings of the mixed coil shall not exceed 6% of

the output rating generated by the coil geometry screening program.

C.

Participants have the option to perform an AHRI test at the Laboratory in addition to their yearly testing
requirements, to add a rating that does not meet the aforementioned criteria.
