Agilent 93000 SOC Series User Training Part 1, October 2004

Five bits of each vector allow 32 combinations (0 to 31), which are

entries in the Physical Waveform Table. Thus every vector stores a

Physical Waveform Index value. For every pin, the Vector Memory

stores binary values in the range of 0 to 31.

Vector blocks get filled from left to right. If less than 28 vectors are

needed between labels, one or more padding vectors are inserted to

bring it to the modulo 28 boundary.

Sequencer instructions have a length of 48 bits (one instruction per

word).

The next illustration will explain the modulo-28 in detail for the vector

label GROSS_FUNC.

The first few lines are copied from the gross_func vector file.

The total vector memory (VM) is 56 in line number 3. Therefore, you

need two modulo-28 blocks as shown on the left side.

There are actually only 36 vectors (GENV) in line number 10. The

remaining bits are filled with break vectors (holding the previous state

by default) to achieve the modulo 28 boundary.
