To extract MIC-8301 from the PAC-4010 chassis:

1. Push the ATTN_BTN.

2. MIC-8301 will start deactivation (shut down OS), and blink the blue LED (Hot Swap

LED).

3. When the blue LED is constantly lit, it is safe to extract the MIC-8301.

4. Press the orange latch spring to unlatch MIC-8301. (see

Figure 3-6 (A)

)

5. Pull the MIC-8301 out of chassis. (see

Figure 3-6 (B)

)

1. Only ONE MIC-8301 is allowed to be extracted at one time.

2. DO NOT leave the slot empty when extracting the board, the alternative
