This information is included in the DNP3.0 or MODBUS data maps and can be
passed on to SCADA.

RS232 TPM menu also has options to reset the statistics data. Type “4” followed
by “Enter” in the TPM menu to reset max LTCDIFF and OP TIME. Type “5”
followed by “Enter” in the TPM menu to reset tap COUNT. Note that resetting
the tap count through RS232 resets the individual tap counters as well as the
overall tap count.

The overall tap counter can also be reset remotely through DNP3.0 or MODBUS
(available on main board versions “F” or higher). However, performing this

remote

reset does not affect the individual tap counter values. See the DNP3.0

or MODBUS RTU data maps for details.

5.5

Tap Changer Position Monitoring Targets

Targets are the alarms that stay picked-up once they pick-up. The only way to
clear them is to reset them either from Front Panel or through RS232. All targets
will reset together. TTC-1000 has 6 targets implemented: LTCDIFF1 RofR,
LTCDIFF2 RofR, TLIM, OFFT, OPFL, and FREQ.

To reset Targets through Front Panel: The temperature & time display will be the
first display you see upon power up. Press the

YES

button when you see

temperatures & time display, doing so will stop automatic scrolling through that

display. Once automatic scrolling is stopped, pressing the

or

arrow buttons

will permit manual scrolling to the various displays. To resume automatic
scrolling, press the

NO

button. Targets can be reset from the screen below upon

pressing the

YES

button:

To confirm that the Targets reset, the display will read:

To reset Targets from RS232, type “5” followed by “Enter” in the RS232 Digital
Inputs and TPM menu.
