User Guide

Note:

To edit messages you’ve selected to show to the user, select Edit > Preferences. The Preferences dialog box

appears. In the Quiz menu, select Default Labels.

Setting hotspot properties

You can change the properties of a hotspot area and its location on the slide.

To set hotspot properties:

Right-click the hotspot, and select Properties from the pop-up menu.

The Hot Spot dialog box appears with the Hot Spot tab displayed.

From the Frame color pop-up menu, select a border color for the hotspot.

Note:

The border color isn’t displayed if the Frame Width is set to zero.

In the Frame Width box, enter a number or use the arrow keys to set the thickness of the hotspot border.

From the Fill Color pop-up menu, select a fill color for the hotspot.

Note:

The fill color isn’t displayed if Fill Transparency is set to 100%.

In the Fill Transparency box, enter a number or use the arrow keys to set the transparency percentage.

If clicking the hotspot is to be marked as a correct answer, select Correct Answer.

To make the hand icon appear when the mouse is moved over the hotspot, select Show Hand Cursor Over “Hit”

Area.

To specify a shortcut key for the hotspot, Click Select Keys and use the options, and then click OK.

Click Settings to select whether to apply all the properties or only the changed properties to the respective slide

or to all the slides.

(Optional) To apply properties to all slides in the project, select Apply to All.

Click OK.

Click the Size and Position tab to specify the exact size and position of the Review area.

Creating a new sequence slide

A sequence slide provides users with a list of items that have to be arranged in the correct sequence. For example,
you can create a list of kings that ruled Poland and ask users to drag the items to arrange them chronologically.

Alternatively, you create the same list, but ask users to select the chronological sequence from pop-up menus.
