Slides
To add text that can be read by a screen reader to a slide:
1 Open an Adobe Captivate project.

Double-click the slide to which you want to add accessible text.

Select Slide > Properties.

Click the Slide tab.
5 Click Accessibility.
6 Type in the text that you want the screen reader to read aloud. If there is text on the slide (such as captions) or
any slide notes or closed captions have been written, you can click Insert slide text, Insert slide notes, or Insert
Closed Captioning Text to add that text for use as slide accessibility text.
7 Click OK and then click OK again.
Adding transitions
Transitions are a special effect that you can be set to appear between slides in Adobe Captivate projects. Transi-
tions can, depending on the content of your project, create a smoother flow from one slide to the next. Try adding
a transition and then previewing your project to see how it looks.
Note: When you set a transition type, the transition effect only applies to the selected slide. If you want to apply the
transition to all slides in your project, you must select Apply to all.
To add a transition between slides:
1 Open an Adobe Captivate project.
2 Double-click the slide to which you want to add a transition.

Select Slide > Properties.
The Slide Properties dialog box appears.
4 From the Transition pop-up menu, choose one of the transition options.

If you want to apply the transition to all slides, select Apply to all and then click Settings to choose how to apply
the change.

Click OK.
