Clicking an area outside the slidelet, or on the filmstrip, reverts the timeline to that for the corresponding slide.
To create a rollover slidelet:

Open an Adobe Captivate project.

Double-click a slide to open it in Edit view.

Select Insert > Rollover Slidelet. The New Slidelet dialog box appears.
The following options are in the Appearance area on the Slidelet tab:
Border color
Select a border color for the slidelet from the pop-up menu.
Border width
Enter a number or use the arrow keys to set the thickness of the slidelet border.
Fill color
Select a fill color for the slidelet from the pop-up menu.
Fill transparency
Enter a number or use the arrow keys to set the transparency percentage.
Select image
Select a background image for the slidelet.
Clear
Remove any previously selected image.
4 Click the Options tab.
The following option is in the Timing area:
Display For
Type a value or use the arrows to set the time, in seconds, for the slidelet.
The following options are in the Transition area:
Effect
Set a fading effect, or no effect, from the pop-up menu.
In and Out boxes
Set the time (in seconds) for the fading effects by typing a value.
The following option is in the Effects area:
Show Runtime Shadow
Select this option to display a shadow below the slidelet during runtime. The shadow
gives a three-dimensional feel to the slidelet.
5 Click the Audio tab.
Use these settings if you plan to attach an audio file to the slidelet. Additional equipment is required to record and
attach an audio file.
The following buttons are in the Audio area:
Play
Play the sound file.
