Check the coils of AC Generator

Charge coil

•

The check for charge coil of ACG can

be done on engine assembly.

•

Disconnect the 4P connector of ACG.

•

Measure the resistance between ACG

white wire and ground green wire.

Resistance: 0.2

Ω

Lighting coil

•

The lighting for charge coil of ACG

can be done on engine assembly.

•

Measure the resistance between ACG

yellow wire and ground green wire.

Resistance: 0.1~1.0

Ω

Check resister

•

Measure the resistance between the

resister and ground green wire.
Resistance: 5W5.0

Ω

: 4.0~6.0

Ω

Remove the AC Generator

Disassembly

•

Remove the R body cover.

•

Unscrew 2 fixed bolts and 2 tapping

screws.

•

Remove the cooling fan cover.

•

Unscrew 4 fixed bolts on cooling fan

and remove the fan.
