MotionCreatorPro

After installing the hardware (Chapters 2 and 3), it is necessary to
correctly configure all cards and double check the system before
running. This chapter gives guidelines for establishing a control
system and manually testing the 8174 cards to verify correct oper-
ation. The MotionCreatorPro software provides a simple yet pow-
erful means to setup, configure, test, and debug a motion control
system that uses 8174 cards.

Note that MotionCreatorPro is only available for Windows 2000/
XP/Vista with a screen resolution higher than 1024x768. Recom-
mended screen resolution is 1024x768. It cannot be executed
under the DOS environment.

5.1

Execute MotionCreatorPro

After installing the software drivers for the 8174 in Windows 2000/
XP/Vista, the MotionCreatorPro program can be located at <cho-
sen path>\PCI-Motion\MotionCreatorPro. To execute the program,
double click on the executable file or use
