-ASC 2000 User's Guide

Using The Keyboard

The keyboard is mainly used to operate the STANDARD USER INTERFACE. Use
the arrow keys to move the cursor through the interface's menus. The <INSERT>,
<PAGE UP> and <PAGE DOWN> keys are often used to select menu items.

Two important notes about the keyboard:

1. D o n o t e n a b l e < N U M L O C K > w h e n y o u a r e i n t h e d e s k t o p o r

STANDARD USER INTERFACE. When <NUMLOCK> is on, some
keyboard function keys will not respond.

2. D o n o t u s e t h e k e y b o a r d < P R I N T S C R E E N > k e y w h i l e i n t h e

STANDARD USER INTERFACE. To print a display screen from the
STANDARD USER INTERFACE, press <F2>.
