Maximize
Button
Maximizing An Icon
To re-open an application after you have minimized its window, double-click the
trackball pointer on application's icon. This will re-open the application's window to
its previous size. This is called "maximizing" an icon.
To make the window bigger, click the trackball pointer on the outside button located
to the far right of the title bar. The window will expand to its largest possible size.
Dragging And Dropping Icons and Windows
"Dragging and dropping" is way to move files and programs between desktop locations
using the trackball. Click on an icon or a window and hold down the leftmost trackball
button. (For windows, click the pointer on the title bar.) The icon or window will move
as you roll the trackball. Adjust the trackball until the icon or window is in the desired
location on the desktop, then release the trackball button. The window or icon will settle
in its new location.
An experienced operator can use dragging and dropping to shortcut common
operations such as printing, saving files to diskette and moving files from one
directory to another.
Resizing A Desktop Window
To change the size of a desktop window, place the trackball pointer on the top frame
of the window and hold down the leftmost trackball button. (Another method is to
select Size from the window button menu.) The window grows or shrinks as you
move the pointer up and down or side-to-side. Dragging the window frame from the
corners expands the window in a diagonal direction.
Release the trackball button when you are satisfied with the window's size.
