-ASC 2000 User's Guide

How To Close A Window

Closing a window stops the application running within it. (This is different from
minimizing a window, which leaves the program running.)

You can close a window several ways. Pick the one you prefer.

1.

Select Close This Directory from the File menu on the window menu bar
using the trackball pointer. You may be prompted for confirmation before
the application closes.

OR

2.

Access the lefthand window menu button either by pressing the <ALT> and
<Spacebar> keys simultaneously or by moving the trackball pointer.
Select Close by moving the trackball pointer to it and clicking once. You
may be prompted for confirmation before the application closes.

Press the <ALT> <F4> accelerator keys simultaneously. You may be
prompted for confirmation before the application closes.
