19. Wi-Fi Connection
Connecting the Wi-Fi enabled
Tablet to an external router is the
same as setting up Wi-Fi for a
normal Android tablet. Once the
on-screen setup process has been
completed, minimize the Platinum
Elite app and go to Settings, find
Wi-Fi settings and available Wi-Fi
networks will appear. Choose the
desired network and type in the
password to connect. After
successful connection, the Wi-Fi
logo will appear on the status bar.
Connecting to Wi-Fi will allow
automatic software updates for
the Tablet and enable use of the
Platinum Elite App on your mobile
phone. The connection will stay
permanent unless settings on the
chosen router change. The
connection will automatically
resume if the Tablet is powered
off and on again.
20. Software Update
Once connected to Wi-Fi, the
system may indicate an updated
version of the software is
available. Follow the onscreen
prompts to update.
