4. INSTALL DRIVER FOR WINDOWS 2000 & WINDOWS 98SE
4.1 Install Driver For The
First
Time & Detection
a) Make sure that the
USB
dongle is
NOT
plugged into your PC at this time. Please do not plug the
USB dongle into your PC until you are instructed to do so.
b) Put the ACT-IR204UN CD-ROM in your PC CD/DVD Drive. In most cases this should start to
install automatically. If it does, proceed to STEP c). If it does not, open up your “My Computer”
window, and Explore the CD contents.
Following contents can be seen in the driver disk of ACT-IR204UN:
Double click “
USirSetup.exe
” in above window to install the drivers.
c) A popup screen appears. Click “
Install
” to proceed further.
The Windows system will install ACT-IR204UN device driver on your computer.
