”.
8. COMPORT UTILITY
The installation CD includes an utility program named “ACT-IR204UN-ComUtility.exe”. This
program will help to detect the COM port number. But before you use this utility, please follow the
installation procedure ( refer Chapter 4 & 6) to install the driver first. Then after you connect your device
to PC and succesfully complete the “Found New Hardware” PC detecting procedure, you could run this
utility.
You will see the COM port window as below when running it. If more than one ACT-IR204UN
adapters are connected, then it will display all the ports. So if you want to identify each adapter’s COM
port number, you had better check the first COM port before you plug the second one.
