The exit cylinder must be extended and the entry cylinder retracted (See Figure 23).

When the containers are moving down the machine’s conveyor, they should be
traveling without problems until they stop at the exit cylinder (See Figure 25).
e)
Once all of the containers are in position (# of containers in the filling area = # of
nozzles). The nozzles should go down, the entry cylinder rod should extend, and the
conveyor should stop.
f)
When the nozzles reach the bottom of the stroke, the fill cycle should start.
g)
When the fill cycle has ended, the nozzles should go up, and pistons should begin to
charge for the next cycle.
h)
When the first container coming out of the filling area passes in front of the exit
sensor, the entry cylinder should retract, and a new set of empty containers should
enter to the filling area.
i)
Once the exit sensor reads the total quantity of containers filled (# containers = # of
nozzles), the exit cylinder should extend and stop the next set of containers.
j)
When the new set of containers is in position, the fill cycle should start again.
