PISTONS FOR FILLING
The pistons used for filling the product are fabricated in different capacities (from 2.5 oz.
to 1 gallon). All these pistons are made of stainless steel class 316L, and utilize Teflon
seals. We offer both standard (thread together) and sanitary (compression fit) type
pistons.
To control product flow during the charge and discharge cycles, our pistons utilize a
double check valve system that works with a metal to metal seal. The piston ring seals
(spring seals), which create the seal between the piston head and the cylinder chamber are
made of Teflon and energized by a stainless steel spring.
