Installation and commissioning guide

Procedure

Open the bottom valve. The valve can be
accessed from both the top and the bottom:

•

Top access: turn the bottom valve (1) with
the bottom valve key.

•

Bottom access: turn the bottom valve (2) with
a hex key.

CAUTION!

Use only the bottom valve key. Do not
use other tools because they can
cause damage to the bottom valve.

CAUTION!

Do not turn the bottom valve more than
four turns.

NOTE!

The tap-changer is tested in oil, and
small amounts of oil can flow out from
the bottom valve.

Do the drying process.

5.3 After drying

Procedure

Make sure that all liquid is drained from the tap-changer.

Make sure that the bottom valve on the
tap-changer is closed.

•

Top access: tighten the bottom valve (1) with
the bottom valve key.

•

Bottom access: tighten the bottom valve (2)
with a hex key.

CAUTION!

Use only the bottom valve key. Do not
use other tools because they can
cause damage to the bottom valve.
