Lifting accessory (chain):
3HAC15556-1
Attach the Lifting accessory (chain) to an over-
head crane (or similar) and then to the lifting eye
in the arm house and to the lifting eye in the wrist.
Adjust the lengths of the chains so that the lifting
hook is located in line with the center of gravity
when the robot arm system is lifted, as shown in
the figure.

WARNING
The angle between the two chains may not exceed
90°.

Attach the Turning tool
Use this procedure to attach the Turning tool for lift of the arm system.
Note
Action
Turning tool: 3HAC061162-001
Secure the turning tool chain block to the lifting
eye in the wrist.
Shorten the chain to make the lift horizontal.

Fit a roundsling between the overhead crane hook
and the lifting eye in the arm house.

Disconnecting the axis-1 motor cables
Note
Action
DANGER
Make sure that all supplies for electrical
power, hydraulic pressure, and air pressure
are turned off.
