5. Select the File Viewer aspect and give it a name e.g. Control Application 1.3-
2006-05-23.
6. Right-click the selected aspect and select Config View.
7. Click the Attach button in the Public Document part of the window, and
browse to the newly created zip-file. Select the file and click Open.
8. The file is now stored in the system and will be part of any future system
backup.
Installation of Ghost
To install Symantec Ghost follow the steps below:
1. Load Symantec Ghost CD into the CD/DVD drive.
2. Select Install Symantec Ghost Corporate Edition.
3. Choose Install Console and Standard Tools.
4. Move on through the installation by pressing Next until the User Information
dialog box is shown.
5. In the User Information dialog box, write the information including a working
e-mail address and eventual Serial Number. Without a serial number, the
software will only function for a limited period of time.
6. Click Next to install the software to its default path. Select Change if you want
to place the software files somewhere else.
7. In the Custom Setup dialog box, select the components to be installed. Leave
the default configuration which includes all in case of uncertainty.
8. Select the Console Service Account Name and Console Service Account
Password. It is recommended to choose something easy to remember, e.g.
“ghost” and “ghost”.
9. Click Install.
10. To complete the installation click Next, Next and then Finish.
